I remember about 5 years ago I saw this deer at a stop sign out in rural meriwether, she stood there with 3 legs starring at me. Of course you go holy ****! and go on about your night. Well a couple weeks later same stop sign and there she was standing there 3 legged with her off spring.

Deer can take a lot of ****!

This is weird to me. Aint no way a deer is ducking a bolt at 30 yards unless you are shootin an old one. The in flight part confuses me too. You cant see a crossbow bolt in flight even with lighted nocks.

I've let plenty of larger bucks walk, no shame in it when a large doe comes in also. Which I prefer eating over bucks.
