have a boat trailer--want to build a camper

I'm disabled, recently widowed with time on my hands.
Title says most of what I want to convey. I'm in Oakwood. Can anyone closeby help with ideas ?

Google is your friend. Try searching for teardrop trailers or home made trailers. Go to images and you will find lots of homebuilts. Also Pinterest has a great section on trailers. Some real interesting efforts. Good luck.

I'd start with a something other than a boat trailer

Usually too weak
Tires too small
No brakes

depends on the trailer, bass boat size maybe a teardrop type camper. My boat sits on a 30 plus 10000# trailer. You could build a lot on that one. A regular trailer opens up a lot of choice.

Depending on size of boat trailer it should make a pretty cool teardrop with storage on the narrow front.

here's a cool camper on a boat trailer

ooo it's been longer than I thought.
O K , the wheels on this trailer are same size as a Ford 14 inch. [thats what the spare is.]
Think of a huge capitol letter "A" there is the basic box which is 66 inches wide and little more than 96 inch long. Then it gradually closes up to another cross bar,[ still behind the winch,] to 22 inches wide, in a space of 72 inches long. But this thing is too heavy for me to mess with. Anybody want a boat trailer---cheap ?
