Back in the '60s dad had a special way to prepare popcorn that
I've tried to replicate & enjoy over last several years. It's not
difficult just requires 1-2 hour head start before your movie starts.
After popping corn pour it onto cookie sheet covered w/aluminum foil.
(easier cleanup) I pick out the unpopped kernels just so they're not in
the way while wolfing down the finished product. Pour on melted butter,
your option how much. Then sprinkle on some Parmesan cheese, have
heard that brewer's yeast also does well but I've stuck w/parmesan.
While you were doing all that hopefully you had oven on preheat to 200*.
Slide cookie sheet into oven reset on bake (hate when forget that part).
Bake for at least an hour, two is better. If I only have an hour I usually
bump temp to 225*. Popcorn crispier and more flavorful, similar to difference
between peanuts right out of the can vs dry roasted pnuts right out of the jar.
