It is with a heavy heart that we have to rehome our sweet Freya. We adopted her at the beginning of COVID because we were all home and then I worked 3rd shift so I was able to be home with her during the day. Now none of us are home during the day and she was doing ok with her electric fence but now that isn’t enough and fencing in our backyard isn’t an option.
She is an Anatolian Shepherd/Lab mix (Sheprador) that is about 5 years old and is great with kids (we have 3). She doesn’t like cats and has been around other dogs. She is crate trained but mainly lives outside during the day and sleeps inside during the night. Loves to play fetch and knows some basic commands. Up to date on all her shots and is spayed. She would require a fenced in backyard an electric fence doesn’t seem to phase her anymore.
Im going to be picky about who she goes to because I want her to be able to live her best life. I can include food for her for the next month.
We just want the best for her and we have realized we can’t give her the attention she deserves.
