They are trying to find anyway to make that name a permanent fixture to what they want the general public to think is an assault weapon.

I would never turn my AR in. Even if I considered it, my AR cost more than that.
I'd bet they would make you pay it back the next year. Lol
I would never turn anything in for the government destroy/pass on to someone else. also the 2000 dollar tax credit will end up being penny's on the dollar not actual 2000 depending on your tax bracket. I would rather do a give away here. I will gladly keep all my junk.
