oh ok, I thought that was the sear spring.

That is the sear spring. You do need the disconnector/ejector spring.

Edit - just noticed you had them listed separately but it is actually one spring. The bottom side acts as the lifter portion and the tip of the other end is actually the ejector. On some older models, the ejector was part of the feed throat but if you notice that little groove in your feed throat, that's where the end of that combo spring rides. The spent cases actually bounces of the tip of the spring. The ejector spring might require a little tuning when you get the gun back assembled. It could upset both feeding and extracting. If you have problems, there is an awesome sticky over a rimfire central.com that can walk you through adjusting it. All it takes is a nickel.
