Gotta love 285 speed limit signs.......

I fail to see how they are able to enforce any speeding tickets written on a road where the speed limit signs are constantly changing.

"Exceeding posted limit." Or too fast for conditions. They make it up as they go along, and the courts get their cut.

Same way they (most) enforce other laws. Badge+uniform=Law enforcement. Its by their judgement (good or bad), on the fly and heavily influenced by hunger, height, weight, childhood memories, and spouse relations.

Most people think they are just a suggestion on the interstate. I’ve wondered a long time why Franklin county deputies spent so much time working 85. Then I got a scanner. Routinely they are clocking folks going 100 mph. And the wrecks. And what I really have to laugh at is the folks going that fast with dope in the vehicle or no drivers license.

I thought the speed limit was 285mph on 285 my car is a P.O.S so it only goes 65mph but everybody else seem to no problem reaching the max speed

Never has been one that I’m aware of. If someone’s a Nervous Nellie, this ain’t the road for them.

Went to Glock a few years ago and running 285 around the top end was crazy. I swear I was going so fast my 2 door Jeep was coming off the ground in places.
