Gold instead of brass???

Took two new shooters to Big Woods Goods yesterday for some range time, always bring my own ammo. But when checking in was asked if we needed any ammo and, being it is hard to find I thought I would ask how much. Beautiful (and I mean beautiful) girl at the counter takes out a 50 round zip lock bag of 9mm and advises $59 and change. I picked it up to see if the cases were gold and not brass but they were indeed brass, we did not buy any.

$30 would have been 'market price' for a box of 40 rds. Kind of like buying a beer at the ball game. $11 for 12oz. cup.

cannot think of anything bad to say about BWG, in fact I drive down from Jasper, bypassing local range for them. Just shocked by their higher then ODT price on range ammo as they are great pricewise on just about everything in the store. By they way, for those interested, they had plenty of Glocks in stock, like 43x at $469 or $399 blue label.
