I personally prefer having the slide cut to accept an optic. That being said, they make a G48 MOS so you can bypass the adapter plate. Hope that helps even though it did not directly answer your question.

Skip the MOS system. Too high and too many parts to potentially fail. Have your slide milled.

Yeah - kinda. But then you need an adapter plate, and then the mrds sits on top of that, which is too high. Just have a standard slde milled for your sight
