He stepped out at 30 yds at 6pm. Don't believe the myths about hunting a full moon and/or hunting in high winds. Remember you can't kill them on the couch. I have seen many strange things happen in the full moon and even strong wind. We are close to the rut and in some areas they are already chasing. If you get one hot after a doe, the wind is not so much of a factor anymore.
