I'm changing the fuel filter on the Exploder and it has two lines from the tank and one that goes to the engine....anyone know if it matters which connection gets hooked up from the tank side or not since there are two? I was a moron and didn't pay attention. One is a tad longer and larger gauged.

That one has two lines. Mine has 3. It's like it's a return line or something.

Do the hoses appear to be different sizes?

If the two from the tank end are different size (as you say they are) it should not be possible to hook it up wrong. The little hose will not fit on the big tube and the little tube will be loose in the big hose...

i almost did the same on a different vehicle, had 3 lines. Luckily the top hose wouldnt reach the bottom or i wouldnt have known otherwise but, i was told it made a difference. . idk why

They look the same and have plenty of slack
