FS Smith and Wesson 25-5 4" 45 Colt

Very good condition Smith and Wesson 25-5 4" 45 Colt. Gun is pinned but not recessed and has standard hammer and trigger. Red ramp front sight and white outline rear sight. N prefix serial number and dates to 1980-1983. Timing and lockup are spot on . Gun has slight bluing loss from holster wear and color case hardening on trigger and hammer are excellent. Original Grips (as far as i know ). They don't make them like this anymore...

45 Colt is correct...Long was used to by the military when ordering to make sure they got the right ammo. Old history

Very nice. Appears to be a 25-5 a -2 gun would be 45acp but this is a 45 colt. The odd dash numbers are 45 colt. Sweet the 4 inch guns a little harder to come by. If I didn’t already have one I’d sure be tempted. What am I talking about I’m still tempted. Price ain’t bad either

You are correct I was looking at my 25-2 when I was typing Gun is 25-5.
