Hello, I'll bet your pistol is a lot of fun. And, of course, accurate. Ruger continues to surprise me with models previously unseen by me. And, I believe, you have yet another. Do you know how long the barrel is? (Measured from breach to muzzle?) It has the regular target adjustable sights as well as your scope. I have a MK III SS Hunter but it has a longer, I believe, barrel. Very long and also fluted. In excess of 6", I believe. Very accurate, also. Another I have is blued with a "slab sided" 4" barrel. I have never seen one of these either. 11 years old and my only 22/45. I had many problems with it since I recently acquired it. I don't believe it had ever been cleaned. With a lot of work and three visits to Ruger Service it now runs like Rugers usually do. And with the reblue done by Ruger it also looks new. Your pistol is another interesting MK III. But probably too well equipped for me. The ammo will surely attract you a buyer. Which does seem to be loosening up a bit. I bought a brick today, of Federal, for $.10/round. Freight free. There may be hope? Tom in Buford

Hi Tom, It is very fun, however, didn't really use it too much. I originally bought it because I really liked the look of it and have had other Ruger guns. I also bought it for my daughter so that she would come to the range with me which she did one time. The barrel is 5.5 inches long. This pistol is truly like new and just really sharp looking. Regarding ammo, yes, I see it coming down which is great, Still at $.10/rd, so I have $280 worth of ammo included and that leaves $670 for the pistol and scope. These Leupold scopes are amazing and is really good for target practice and small game hunting(which I never have done with it). Thanks for your note and Take Care. Anthony.
