Listed is a highly collectible World War Two, 1944 German Walther P38. It has correct Waffenamts, and the serial numbered parts are matching. There is an easily overlooked, faint engraving on the right grip, Possibly a soldiers name or a place in history?

Out of 130,000 Walther P38's manufactured in the chaotic year of 1944, this pistol was number 13,217 off of the production line in late January/ early February of 1944. As Germany was frantically arming soldiers as well as civilians with all weapons available towards the end of the war, and the allies pushed deep into the heart of the reich, It is a fair bet that this pistol was carried through combat.

This iconic firearm design was produced up until the turn of the century and is highly sought after by collectors. Often called "The Godfather" of the modern combat handgun, the P38's design went on to influence many other firearms, most notably of which being the Beretta 92 Series.

$1,944 cash, will consider trades, or a combination of the two.
