Item Description: Absolutely like new condition in original box with original paperwork, cleaning brush & oil vial. Never fired! This is the later model third edition Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Hammerless five shot chambered in 32 S&W for Smokeless ammo. Manufactured in 1924! This is a 92 year old revolver in new-unfired condition. It is made to shoot modern 32 S&W ammo and could be used as a CCW or added to your collection. As would be expected from a gun that's never been fired, this little revolver is very tight and the mechanism performs perfectly.
These Break-Top Revolvers made by Iver Johnson were way ahead of their time with features like the automatic extractor and slide bar safety. The slide bar stays between the hammer and cylinder until the trigger is pulled thus preventing accidental discharge when dropped. This feature coupled with the small light frame made these very desirable carry guns of the day. Many still carry this gun today for the same reasons.
