Item Description: Hey ladies and gents im dumping alot of my nfa items as im closing shop. I have serial number 3 M16 suppressor that was built for vietnam deployments but was never picked up by the military. From the research i can tell is that it was made in 1982. These were developed by sionics in the late 60’s and put into production by RPB after mitch Werbell had his peepee smacked by the feds and company changed hands to RPB Industries Inc. The finish on the is about a 7 out of 10. It has a couple light scratches and some other finish wear on it. I purchased this from the owner of HTA. He fired 10 rounds through it and then i put 5 through it from my m16. Own a true piece of history. This will only transfer on a form 3 to your dealer. I will NOT do a form 4 even of you are 10 min away from me. You will be able to come inspect the suppressor before purchase. If you want to shoot it you will have to buy it first. I have some original form 4 paperwork from 1982 when the suppressor changed hands from rpb to SWD. So it has some cool provenance that comes with it. The two marks shown in the pictures are only superficial. The can could easily be re-blued back to original new condition very easily.
