Item Name: FS $500 "Frankenstein" AR with 6 mags! M&P 15 upper on Range Tools lower receiver

Location: Danielsville

Zip Code: 30633

Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $500

Caliber: 5.56 / .223 / multi

Willing to Ship: No

Bill of Sale Required?: No

Item Description: I really should've listed this gun on Halloween, but better late than never. LOL!

Factory built S&W M&P15 upper with Magpul flip-up rear sight added. I am the original owner of this upper and it has had about 200 rounds through it. It has a few scuffs on the brass deflecter and a few on the top where I had a carry handle on it at one time, but other than that, it's in great shape and has run flawlessly from day one. The barrel is marked "5.56 NATO 1/9". It also has an extended charging handle latch added, which is really nice if you want to run a scope.

I picked the lower up from another ODTer the other day. I liked it because it has no markings on either side of the magwell. It has a really clean look to it and I was planning on keeping it, but I've found something else I want more. You guys know how bad this gun sickness is, so here it is back on ODT.

The lower is made by Range Tool and is new and unfired. It has an Anderson LPK installed and a UTG USA buffer tube and stock. The caliber is marked "multi". The serial number is "BLEMxxxx", but I can't find a blemish anywhere on it. The upper and lower fit together perfectly with NO RATTLE AT ALL.

I am also including 6 mags. They are all 30-rounders.

4 x CAA polymer - brand new in 2-pack wrappers
1 x Pro Mag steel - brand new
1 x Eagle - used

The price is $500 face-to-face. I can travel a little bit to make a deal happen, but I'm not looking to go too far to sell what is probably the lowest priced AR on ODT.

If I've forgetten anything, feel free to ask. THANKS EVERYBODY!

damn really cant believe this is having issues selling, I cant imagine many better out there for 500 bucks
I'm actually PMing back and forth with a few people about it right now.

Everybody who was contacted me agrees that the price is awesome, but they all live a LONG WAY from me.

So at this point, the AR is STILL AVAILABLE!

It's not the price obviously. One issue is the time of year. I think the other issue is that damn near everyone that ever wanted an AR already has one. I think the market has flip flopped in the last year or so. By that I mean that ARs are cold and AKs are heating up.

About 10 or 11 years ago a buddy of mine called me up and told me that the pawn shop in Danielsville had gotten in a couple of cases of brand new AKs. I think they were Romanian, but I'm not sure (I know ZERO about AKs). Anyway, he tells me I need to ride with him and buy one. I told him I'd ride with him, but I had no interest in buying an AK. He got it for $250 out-the-door and I thought he was crazy to pay that much. LOL! He shot the hell out of that gun and ended up selling it for $600 right after Sandyhook. Shows how much I know.

I think everything is slow right now, but the next big panic is always just around the corner. I expect guns, ammo and mags to all heat back up the closer we get to elections.

Seriously, I followed the thread on here about Silver as far as investing or hoarding it for a while. I still want to get a good bit more of it while it's pretty low. But the other day I showed my wife the PSA site and their rock bottom deals on blem lowers. I think a dozen of them would be the better short term investment. All it takes is another high profile incident and BAM we're back to $150.00 and up stripped lowers and $1200.00 complete rifles.
I was just talking to my landlord about AKs and the only one he owns is a Mak 90 collecting dust in the closet. I told him he could sell it right now for about three times what he paid for it. But as far as the going back in time wishes I wish I had bought a crate of Chinese SKS rifles and paratroopers when they were $79.00 each. I would like to have another SKS just because I like the caliber and have a good bit of it. Plus it would look good next to my WASR. But once the price went over $200.00 all the appeal went away.

Hey, if you look at the close up pics of this gun you'll notice that I used one of the tracer rounds you gave me to cover up the serial number. I guess I should've mentioned that in the ad and it would've gotten even more views.

Throw it in there and see what happens! Hahaha

I think as elections get closer, you'll have some politicians talking gun control just to get votes. Even if they don't mean it and don't plan to actually do anything, it will still cause people to go out and buy every "assault weapon" and mag they can find.

And yeah, I remember the $79.00 SKS deals too. My cousin got one for that price still covered in cosmoline. I think it also came with a sling and bayonet. Another deal I still kick myself for passing up.

bump for a good price
^^^ THANKS GUYS! ^^^

I've had several PMs, but no buyer yet. Payday isn't but a couple days away though......
