Here is a really nice 1972 vintage series 70. I bought it a while back to use as a base gun for a custom build, but its just too nice. These early series 70s are becoming pretty collectable so Id rather just sell it at a fair price. Ive never shot it, but its got excellent barrel lockup with the collet bushing. Its just sat in the back of my safe. The finish is very good (90% ish) with a few scuffs here and there and some finish wear on the front strap. All appropriate for a gun of this age that has been shot a bit. The grips are Colt factory grips, but not technically correct for the gun. Correct grips are plentiful and fairly cheap on Ebay or gunbroker. Price is $850 near Snellville. No box, comes with one original mag. Thanks.
