Fresh fried mushrooms

I fried up some of of my leftover chanterelles from yesterday. Chopped and lightly sautéed all the ones I'm going to freeze but I had a hankering for some fried mushrooms for lunch.
I took some of the sautéed ones and tossed them in a seasoned 3:1 cornmeal to all purpose flour mix. Fried them in the iron skillet and oh my word were they good! Also have some very concentrated broth for future gravy and soups.

how do y'all clean them? I have a **** ton in my yard. also saw a ton of red ones on the banks of the upper hooch last weekend.
I use the sprayer in the kitchen sink. It's a little easier to back down then a hose. Apart from that some people soak them in salt water, supposed to force out any potential bugs.
