franklins in Athens Sucks!

Yet 5.45x39 is still $300 shipped for 2160 rounds. I hope everyone stay with .223 thinking it is the end all be all god tier carbine round forever. <3 da cheap.

I thought that was the main draw of 556. Cheap surplus ammo.
There are plenty of ballistically superior rounds, but that was the main selling point I thought...

I went to one of Franklin's "cost" sales that they have at the end of the year. I grab a gun I am interested in and bring it to the counter to have a salesperson check the cost. X amount I am told. I put it back in the rack and leave. I go back later in the day with the intent of buying that rifle. It's still there so I grab it, go to the counter, and now its a different price. So either there is some fabricating going on or they paid two different prices for the same gun. (Which of course, is impossible). So everytime I even drive by there I think of how I was lied too. And On the cost sale day this year you could park on there lot because so few decided to go in. In years past you had to park across Atlanta Hwy and risk getting run over like a possum.

If you really want to p*** them off ask to see the invoice to see the actual cost of what they paid.
They are douches.
Its the same way when the " stick it to the government by not charging sales tax". The jack up the price of everything the store by 10 percent

I bought one of the last crates from AIM last month and still would like to have had 1 more. Do you know where there is any more in stock for the prices you mention?

I might be wrong but I think Sporting Arms in Winterville had 500 round cases of it in stock yesterday. I didn't look at it to hard but there was several cases of what ever it was setting on the floor and the price seemed low/fair.

"I hate Obama! He's a cott dayumm socialist!"

"I hate people who correlate their prices with competitors in the same market!"

:)

WRONG! The competitor 300 yards down the road has not ,they will fair much better keeping a small profit margin and selling volume, the name of the place CLYDE'S . I hope franklins goes under. Bass pro for fishing gear,Clyde's for shooting supplies. I bought 2000 rounds for about .50 per round the other day at a local gun store,so the "this is the going rate" is crap and people accept it.

Franklins didn't just start over charging they were 100$ more on their Glocks than Clyde's 4 years ago

Clyde's armory was by far my best experience in a gun store
