C1 is the suffice of the B18 series of motors. B18C1 is the gsr motor. B18A1 is the older up to 93 non vtec and B18B1 is the newer 94+ non vtec motor. C1's rev to 8000 or 8200 rpms if I remember correctly. I had a 2000 gsr and a 2001 as well. Some of my favorite cars for sure.

boy has been driving it a bunch since we got it.. It took a few min to get used to the racing clutch,light weight flywheel and short shifter..
