Went scalloping in Steinhatchee the last week in July, got our limit everyday we were out. Thawed some this evening and made scallop ceviche...

Just had the tenderloins from the first deer I've harvested this year. Pouring rain here so I didn't cook it on the egg, seared in the cast iron skillet to get some color and flavor, then finished in the oven at 350 for about 15 minutes. Took it out if the pan, threw in some chicken broth, spoon of butter, a flat of chopped up mushrooms, and a spoon of Worcestershire sauce then back in the oven under the broiler. Served with steamed green beans from the garden... Sorry no photos, this meal got devoured pretty quickly
