Just picked up an FDE model. What slide and magazine break in procedures do you speak of?

Disassmble the mags and the gun. Clean and oil religiously. Re-assemble and leave the slide locked back for a few days. Fully load all magazines and leave them loaded for a few days. Should help avoid the feeding issues people report with a full magazine.[/QUOTE]

I think mine had some markings, but not to that extent. I'll check when I get home. Mine has only 100 rounds through it at this point.
