When mine went bad it was a bad starter capacitor....a two value, three post job. The unit just hummed like crazy and sat motionless. It had failed and bulged out quite a bit. If yours was a three post capacitor you might check to see if you got the right wires connected....I just replaced the capacitor. it does a very slow spin now. tried to help it turn, but won't kick off. any advice?
Are you talking about the centrifugal force switch on the motor that keeps a capacitor inserted until the CF kicks it out once the speed is reached?replacable? where is it?
