I am wanting to cut the barrel on my .300blk down to 10.3 inch, I know I have to register somehow with the NFA/ATF. The only thing I know is that it is going to cost me $200 other than that I don't have a clue. What Form do I have to send in? Will the barrel need to be cut before or after I send the form in? I hear people talking about a trust. What is a trust and how does it work? I just basically need as much information as I can get on the subject. I tried to look at the NFA website but that is like reading a different language to me.

Trust is like a will but not really, talk to a lawyer about setting one up. Having a trust has its benefits cause you don't need fingerprints, Cleo signature or photos.
