Finally finished John Wick 4 last night.

I was always impressed with the technical parts of the John Wick movies... but the plots are ridiculous and a lot of the plot points simply don't make any sense.

I find myself admiring the gun play and action stuff while cringing at the nonsense that supposedly drives it all.

Pretty much where I'm at. I accepted the plot on the first one and just had fun watching good fight/gun action and choreography.

I have not seen the latest one, but I'll wait until it pops up on some channel I already get with cable. Something tells me it won't be long.

Or maybe one of the Matrix series for the billionth time

I can't watch them. I tried to get through the first one. It's a three hour fight scene. I respect the work and whatnot but....i need a narrative.

That's what happened to The Matrix movies. Loooooooong, drawn out kung-fu fights. Was there a plot to the last ones? How many did they make?

Thought #3 sucked the bag, I’ll watch #4 just because. But not ‘til I can catch it for free.

I enjoyed the first one, toughed it out through the second one, turned the cringey third one off about halfway through…no way I’m subjecting myself to number four.

I like gun porn as much as the next guy but I need a relatively plausible story to stay with it.

I'm on the fence of these opinions. The first was good, the second a stretch, the third I only watched because it was free and I was traveling. Is it worth No. 4?

By the way, any "operators" on here ever tried to shoot over their shoulder?
