I have an older fie Texan revolver that just came with the 22lr cylinder, I tried a 22 mag cylinder from a heritage 22lr-mag combo, the cylinder seems to work fine in it ,I haven't tried firing it, will the heritage cylinder work in the fie without any problems, the fie and heritage guns look identical, thanks

If your gun is marked that it will shoot 22 Mag providing the the cylinder lines up with the bore properly. Get a small wooden dowel and check the alignment. Just because it cycles does not mean it is lined up. If its not at a minimum you will loose your gun shooting it.

22lr and 22mag are not the same diameter, a 22mag is larger in diameter and requires a larger bore. I wouldn't do it unless the original gun is marked to shoot 22mag as well.
