Looking for a new source of fat to use, as my local "mom & pop" butcher shop is closing. Any suggestions for where to purchase it, prefer southside of ATL. Thanks, MW

Wish I could help, Pattons Meat Market is where I get mine but that's in Duluth

Go by Kroger they trim a lot of the meat. They also will cut and trim any whole Rib eyes, and Tenderloins..for free if you buy the meat..Check with them good luck..DD

Thanks guys, I have checked with the chain grocers (kroger, publix, winn dixie...) and the butchers say almost all of their meat comes pre-cut & packed from corporate warehouses nowdays. I just have not found a local meatmarket to use YET, but I'm not giving up. I enjoy the hobby too much !

Check with little giant in riverdale on hwy138. I have gotten some from them in the past.

Buy the cheap boxes of bacon pieces and grind it
