I love key lime but I'm not going to sit down and eat a whole pie, I can't say the same about pecan.
Best pie I ever had was a wild blueberry pie i bought at a stand on the side of the road in Maine. Not all blueberry pies are equal so it would have to be that pie. Strawberry Rubarb that my Grandmother made with strawberries out of the garden bout the size of your thumb. Not those tasteless giant ones you get in the store I like pie. Custard, pecan, sweet potato, pumkin, lemon, chocolate, any kind of fruit are all good but the 2 aforementioned stand out

A friend of my wife who is great at baking made a me Key lime layered cake with fresh strawberry icing. Best of both worlds.
