Christmas Day 1982 I was in boot camp and had scullery duty from (0400-1800). That night we were given one hour to go to the chapel and when I walked in this song was playing. For one hour I listened to Christmas carols and forgot about boot camp.

And this one because it reminds me of my Daddy. A truly good man that I always hope to be half as good as. Like some on here, I grew up country poor. Spent lots of time hunting and fishing not so much for sport but for food. I remember following my Daddy through rough or dangerous ground and I can still hear his voice saying "Step where I step, son. It'll be all right." Other than the Lord I've never trusted anyone the way I trusted that man. I miss you and love you, Daddy!

Don't mean this to be a Christmas downer because it's not. Nothing but good memories!
