Best ever was my PaPa’s cat head biscuits but he’s been gone for about 30 years. He taught my wife and she carries on the family biscuit recipe.

Here in Dawsonville, Big D’s BBQ has great biscuits, but for biscuits and gravy the Country Cafe at Hwy 53 and Warhill Park Rd is pretty hard to beat.

I like Martin's on Fairburn Road in Douglasville. I go about twice a week and get a couple of steak biscuits with a small side of sausage gravy for my wife and I. There is always a line but it moves pretty quickly and the biscuits are still hot when I get them home. Very fine eating.

Before I moved to Winder from Douglas County it was Martin's or the small gas station at Hwy 5 and 166. Now that I live in Winder I need to find a good one
