Fast Bike on 400

was running radar on 400 north of 120 one morn mid 70's,bout 2am and radar, (old doppler) started beeping at 80 and I watched the numbers rise quickly to over 180mph but say or heard nada, my window was open, nada. I dismissed it as a low fying ufo but chased anyway, had to take advantage.

I recall when I worked off 400 a many of days being passed as i was easily going 90 plus mph cars coming around me like i was sitting still. This was back in the mid 90s, and i was fearfull of driving 90 in a 65. People don't realize how dangerous it is going that fast. Ive seen cars wrecked going 50 mph that were tore to pieces.

Certainly responsible of the Policeman to be driving 150 chasing the bike. No public danger there either.

They didn't chase him. Got him at a light on an off ramp

Ah, yes. The good ole days when 400 was nicknamed the Alpharetta Autobahn.

So it does.

I didn't read the article. My info was from an interaction with Alpharetta PD on their Facebook. Obviously they didnt know what they were talking about.
