E350 van/bus running issues please help!!!

I have a e350 that me and my wife have converted into a mobile dog grooming unit,went to pick it up from being vinyl wrapped and it wouldn't idle, when you give it gas it runs really rough and was puffing smoke,strong fuel smell. I let it sit for maybe an hour came back and it runs great, I drove it home on problems.I got in it to move it today and same thing,won't idle runs like crap? What should I do first? Any help is greatly appreciated

pull the throttle body and give it a good cleaning. probably pick up a new set of plugs and air filter also.

Gunman this sounds like a egr going bad I just went thru the same thing with my e350 mi e stuck open causing it to run rough on idle

What year? EFI or carb.

This. Take the TB off and give it a good cleaning. My 06 F150 was doing the same thing and I took it off and the black crud build up was terrible.

when I did mine at about 130k miles. pretty darn bad lol. cleaned up pretty good with just some parts cleaner and a rag though. not hard to get off, just some elbow grease.

Check the IAB. Also
