It will not without making mounts and trans change
Nothing on 96 will bolt to older block so you will have to keep carburetor and mechanical fuel pump
Get a used 96 5.2 318 cheaper then 360 5.9
My engine is quite good.
Thought about building up the older motor and then swapping out for more power. Carbs are good for me.

Are we sure the trany won't work?
I believe you can get a kit to make everything work. The carb should probably be changed to a stand alone injection system.
Soooo much easier and cheaper to use carbs. Just looked my to gain some power without too much down time.
Anyone know if good combos to up the HP and torque without breaking the bank?
