Diesel tractor help

Have you priced an oil pump for these little engines yet? If not don't.....

Yeah, it was run w/o oil. I'm sure she got real hot.

Pulling the block is a pain as it's also the front 1/3 of the tractor frame itself. The front axle literally bolts to the crankcase. Oh well, gotta be done. Too far to turn back now...

Honestly, you might inspect the crank journals.and get lucky. If you're lucky, you might just have to turn the rod journals and go back with stock crank bearings and oversized rod bearings.

Friend of mine bought a skid steer with a bad engine cheap

A used engine was pricy. Till he found out its the exact same engine used in a thermoking refrigerated 18 wheeler trailer

If you rebuild the engine its probably Gonna cost ya more than the tractor is worth to fix it

The engine is only in this model of tractor. I can use a 2tr22a though as the bolt pattern is the same.
