The point would be why is NATO running a SPECOP drill in the streets of a metropolis thats not a designated military zone. Dont we have military bases? Are we at war with a industrialized country as to need to practice drills in that environment? Im just sayin

It looked like NATO units working with US SOF guys. The helicopters were definitely 160th SOAR birds, the boats looked like SWCC boats and there were definitely regular assaulters that were US. You'd be surprised to know how often units like this train in major urban areas... it's just not always publicized.

And it's not always who we are currently fighting. You can't always practice with mud huts. Besides, pretty much every major city has some form of target painted on it, whether here or abroad. I'd like to know that the tip of the spear guys are practiced up just in case something very bad does go down.
