Definition of “Custom” build.

I think of a "Custom Firearm" as a gun built to desired specifications, because there is not a factory model made in that configuration.

If the gun is not in the exact configuration it was when you got it, it's "custom".

I cringe every time I see the title “custom AR-15” in the classifieds before I even view the listing.

What I really love is the "custom AR-15, never fired".
If you're not willing to trust your own 'gunsmith' skills, why the **** should I?

Among gun owners custom means a 12 pack of beer and two cans of Krylon or anything more advanced.

There’s a custom build right now for sail in metro I believe, it don’t fire but don’t worry all it needs is a new handguard apparently… lol

Or....I was sitting in my basement on the computer and ordered some day-glo aluminum quad-rails and finally boogered them onto my AR-clone 'build.'
