once they start building the front and rear at the same plant, maybe they can get the fit and form issues under control

When I am not driving my DD I am driving my 2002 V8 SR5 Tundra 'work truck'.
I bought it in '03 as a CPO vehicle with 17,000 miles ... it now has 188,000 miles.
Short tube headers, a Kazuma /TRD LSD and a beefy rear anti roll bar make it fun to drive to and from service calls.

2022 Mustang GT Performance Pack with the 10r80 transmission

The Performance Pack came with:
- Torsen Differential
- Stiffer Rear anti-sway bar
- Stiffer front springs
- better wheels and tires
- Brembo brake package
- Strut tower brace
- Other K brace and chassis tweaks
- Larger radiator
- Active Exhaust

Just did an air filter and upgraded the tires and added 25mm hub centric wheel spacers after the pic was taken... Removed the resonator and had an x-pipe welded in. With the active exhaust you can make it quiet as a Camry, or sound like NASCAR with the flip of a switch. Going to wider Continental Extreme Contact Plus all seasons really helped with grip and cornering.

Almost got the Mach1, but while I could deal with the Tremac manual trans, the Recaro seats were horribly uncomfortable... So went with this one and its been a blast. I was always a truck guy... First time I owned a cool car with 460hp and proper suspension and handling.

I had the Tremec in my GT350 and it was glorious. The 10R80 is absolutely the better gearbox to live with on a daily basis though. If I were in the market again, knowing what I know now, I'd go with the 5.0L/10R80 just like you've got.

It goes like stink. Put it in Sport, Track our Drag mode and it shifts close to 7500rpm... It slams from gear to gear hard... It doesn't have to disengage the torque converter in order to shift, which is nice. On deceleration you get aggressive downshifts and lots of engine braking, and the exhaust pops and bangs...

Its a legit good transmission... The manual versions need like an extra 40hp just to keep up with it...
