Pizza on the Holland Grill
Never had a grilled pizza...looks tasty.
Totally different taste. And Yes, TASTY. Outdoorsy, kinda smokey.
I cook this way often.
What kind of wood? I'd think hickory would be too heavy?

Everything taste better on a grill. I ran this by the wife, she wasn't interested.....And I do the grilling.....
I like hickory but I also like a heavy smoke flavor. Oak is the mildest smoke flavor but mesquite is a good middle option to try out first to see what you prefer.
I use wood chunks mixed with lump charcoal in my kamado smoker. Kids love making their own personal size pizza then tossing it own. Makes for a cheap fun Friday night
