Crabbing on Ga Coast????????

Anyone have any hotspots? Like around the Jekyll area? Dropping pots or hand traps?

Just about any where in the tidal creeks. Make sure your traps will be covered at low tide, stay away from the commercial guys. Mullet or any cut bait will outperform chicken.

Thats for shrimping. I use drop buckets with cut big mullet or a small mesh bag of chopped mullet. I just tie them to the pier I am fishing on at the time when the tide comes in and goes out. Sometimes I cut pogey or croaker depending on what is running the river that day.
