Concealed carry legal in Georgia without permit?

I know Stacey from my neighborhood. I even had lunch with her a long time ago. When I was testifying at the committee to get SB308 passed, I ran into her. Here was my email exchange:

Permits are and will still be an option if anyone wants one. They are no longer required to carry in GA.

Everyone will still be able to get one to show the officer at traffic stops to feel like good pets.

On a more serious note, they're still useful for out of state carry and skipping the background check at an FFL.

I’ve definitely never showed mine at a traffic stop. Not their business.
