I don't know about only pawn shops gouging. I saw Colt 6920 at a local shop for 1999. That is about 800 dollars more than they were at Christmas.

The 6720's at Clydes are $1299. The online pricing is not always updated. They told me today that Colt had increased their cost to them. They do still have 6720's in stock today. They had 1 M&P but think it was being bought when I left.
