On the page I make my picks it says deadline 5 minutes before each game. Does that mean I can hit the save button more than once and save picks as I go? Like if I didn't want to pick all at once?

Yes you can make your picks, or not, or change, any game up until 5 minutes prior to the scheduled kick off.
