Last night at an IDPA match there was a swinger that was swinging in front of two nn-shoot targets. I managed to chase the swinger and put a hole in grandma. I was laughed at for a while.

Excellent drill. I was looking at building some sort of pendulum target to do this. Normally, I just set up 6 targets (3 shoot & 3 no shoots) overlapping each other at various distances. It forces the shooter to use angles to engage the threat.

I built something like this. It has steel plates on magnets. When I hit one and knock it off it starts swinging. Always changing when you get a hit.

No need for some clown with a mic boom...

Its the same concept. Moving targets, unpredictable...

Never thought of using of of those behind a static target.
