Cold Steel Tomahawk redo

I bought this tomahawk to add to my throwing collection but didn't really realize the size and the bulk until after I got it. I'm old and decrepit and it's big and bulky so I decided to turn it into my designated camp ax instead.
The hardest part was removing the factory paint job.
Once I got that off I did a little file work to give it character, a mustard etch and an acid bath to add patina and made up a stain color for the handle.
All in all I'm pretty happy with the results.

How did you strip the paint? Seriously that enamel was a bugger to remove.
