I have a coin I got from my dad years ago. Its a 1970 silver medal that was sold at Stone Mountain to fund the finish of the carving.(what I was told). It as numbered on the rim and box

I have a ton of pre-1964 silver. Silver eagles. Graded 5 oz ATB coins. Libertads. Mapleleafs. Mostly for bullion investments. Now people are starting to turn to silver bullion coins as collectibles because world governments aren't minting many generic coins with any valuable metals content anymore.

My favorites are the US commemorative half dollars from the 1920's and 1930's. Will post a couple of pictures when I get the chance. Just started collecting these. Really like the stone mountain and oregon trail designs. Feels good to collect something that retains it's value instead of just throwing money away.

I think I have a handful of German coins my grandfather brought back from WWII. I will post a pic.

Here is what I could find. 3 on left are French, the rest are German. Dates are all over the place but he acquired all while there.
