IMO, yes. They make you "qualify" at 100 yards by shooting a decently tight group before you can move to the longer ranges. It's a great chance to see what you and your weapon system are capable of. I took my 14.7 out to 600 with the acog. Not a very good group but I found the limit of I can do with the platform and optic.Is it still worth going if I only have an Ar-15 with eotech + 3x magnifier?

That would be new. Used to just have to bracket the center with stadia.I could see the X in the center of the X ring in my scope.
It's not a club. You pay for your time on the range. I think it's $35 for a day pass that gives you access to everything other than clays. You pay for that separately.How much does it cost?
I want to join a nice range.
Though, I wish for a great LR local range.
