The banter is there for entertainment, info, free bump. If someone has business to discuss I expect to see a pm.

ODT is more than just telling/trading. It's a community. Supporting each other in deals is just another way of being friendly. I disagree with shutting that door. It's also free word of mouth advertising both for your item and your character. I like dealing with people who others vouch for.

I vote leave it as is.

This site is just fine like it is. If anyone likes the PM only classified's, there happens to be other sites like that, and I pray to god this one never turns out like them....
