You mean possession of it right now. Seems to me that if it's part of or on HOA property the HOA had temporary possession subject to its rules and whether the member was fully paid up HOA-wise - in good standing it isn't technically 'abandoned.' (e.g., I've been a fully paid member of my HOA for over 20 years and have not once 'abandoned' it. Does it mean I can't go use it if I get the hair up my butt to go do so?
