chronograph experiences or suggests (want to buy one but which one)

Looking to get a chrono for my 300 blkout and 308 loads. pistol load on occasion.


Any body have any suggestions or experience. Would like to stay under 200 and don't mine writing down results don't need computer interface

I have a couple of Shooting Chrony brand that I've been very pleased with.

The first one is really old so I bought an updated one a few years back.

I'll second the shooting chrony - I've got the beta model and it is very good for the money. Just buy a decent tripod to go with it.

That's what I use. It works fine just get a few feet from the muzzle as you may get incorrect readings. The guys suggested a Chrony and I am pleased with the purchase.

Just remember, you will need good lighting (or lighting options) if you are going to test indoors. Cabela's has one for $100. I used it for my 7mm-08 hand loads. Gave it away a while back.

I use a camera tripod from wally world. It works great.
